Women Circle – International Women Day


In honor of International Women Day, on 8th March between 13.30-14.30 our yoga teacher Sinem Gül Şahin arranges a women circle at Anasa Cultural Center. In circle as women we will share our feelings and thoughts, we will do a short series of balancing relaxing yoga that is for every level,meditation and breathing.

A women’s circle is a safe and sacred space for women to come together, use their voices, be heard and be seen for self reflection with free of judgement. It is open for all ages.Women throughout history have gathered in circles to empower each other and share experience and wisdom. These gatherings help women get in touch with their feminine strength and turn up their positive vibration. Women circles are an opportunity to meet with others from all walks of life.With politics dividing us further every day, women need community more than ever.

* It is an open class free to all women.It is advised to wear comfy clothes and bring your own yoga mat. If you don’t have your own yoga mat, please inform us.

*Sinem is a psychotherapist from Turkey who is also interested in healing science of ancient cultures. She had been in Indıa in 2014 to take yoga teacher training by traditional ashram, Shri Kali. There she had been thought asanas, philosophy of yoga and tri-dosha balancing series that is called full body meditation. After she turned back from İndia she started to apply also these technıques to her psychotherapy sessions. Since years her healing style has turned to a holistic healing which include body as well as mind. As she was living in Istanbul she went on take educations about tantra philosophy and Gurdjieff movements. Now she is living in Athens and sharing her yoga and therapy system here in Greece.
